The most recent Continuous Delivery NYC Meet Up on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 was hosted by Yodle at our headquarters in New York and had between 50-70 guests in attendance for the evening.
We were excited to have Barak Schecter, Yodle’s Head of Architecture, Platform and Tools (APT) team dubbed “The Night’s Watch”, as the guest speaker. He presented on how the Architecture, Platform & Tools team has been the sword in the darkness and watcher on the walls and able to keep the chaos from creeping into Yodle’s production environment.
The following presentation is based on how Yodle has been incrementally improving its continuous delivery process over the past 12 months. In May, we released a manual Canary Pipeline. In July, we automated it with the help of Cerebro. In August, we released Sentinel, an internal UI to monitor and administer the pipeline. In September, we released JetPack, a library that significantly improved the functionality of our pipeline. Together, these tools are integral to the success of continuous delivery at Yodle.
During the presentation, you will hear both Yodle’s Barak Schecter, Head of Architecture, Platform & Tools and Daniel Rolnick, CTO speaking with the audience.
Please enjoy and we look forward to any comments.
